Ducon Infratechnologies has emerged L1 for one more flue gas desulphurization (FGD) project, following a similar win announced in the last week of June 2021. Both projects were awarded by NTPC.
In the latest development, Ducon Infratechnologies, along with its unnamed EPC partner, has emerged L1 for providing FGD package for the 2×195-mw Muzaffarpur thermal power project (Stage II) in Bihar. The value of the order is in the region of Rs.100-1150 crore.
Ducon had opted to bid for this project in collaboration with an EPC partner in order to optimize its available resources, Ducon said in a stock exchange filing. “Ducon Infratechnologies would be supporting Ducon US and would be extensively involved in the execution of the project from concept to commissioning,” the filing added.
In the previous instance, Ducon, bidding solo, had emerged L1 for providing the FGD package to NTPC’s 2×250-mw Barauni thermal power station (Stage II), also located in Bihar. (Read more).
