Advait Energy Transitions Ltd has announced that it has emerged as L1 bidder for two system improvement projects in Gujarat.
In a stock exchange communication, Advait Energy said that it has emerged as successful (L1) bidder for two turnkey contracts to be executed in the Amreli and Bhavnagar circles of state discom Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL).
The two turnkey contracts relate to supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11kV medium voltage covered conductor (MVCC) with accessories and allied items for creation of robust network for reliable power supply in 11KV feeder of Bhavnagar and Amreli circles of PGVCL under System Improvement (SI) Scheme.
The orders, whose value was not disclosed, are scheduled for completion in 12 months. The formal letters of intent from PGVCL are awaited, the stock exchange communication said.
Incorporated in September 2003, and with its commercial operations starting in April 2005, PGVCL is a state government-owned power distribution utility catering to the western region of Gujarat covering 12 districts — Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Porbandar, Bhuj, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Amreli, Botad, Morbi, Devbhumi Dwarka and Gir Somnath.
With around 67.72 lakh consumers, PGVCL caters to a population of around 1.75 crore spread over a geographical area of 99.771 sqkm. PGVCL is among the four state government-owned discoms operating in Gujarat.
