KEC International Ltd has secured new orders of Rs.1,024 crore across its various businesses, the RPG Group company said in a statement.
The Power Transmission & Distribution business landed orders for various projects in India, Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
In a significant development, the Railways business secured an order for a doubling project including track linking, signaling and telecommunication (S&T) and overhead electrification works in India. “The railway order further strengthens our leadership in the conventional railway segment,” noted Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International.
“We are pleased with the new order wins secured across our business verticals amidst global uncertainties. Our T&D order book continues to grow on the backdrop of orders secured across various geographies, especially in the international markets,” added Kejriwal.
The new orders included a domestic mandate for infrastructure works in the cement segment. The solar business won an order for setting up a 13.60-mw rooftop solar project in India while the cables business clinched orders relating to supply of cables and cabling projects in India and overseas.
