Augmenting market penetration
Commenting on the proposed expansion Manish Agrawal, CEO – Conductor & Telecom Division, Apar Industries, said, “As per National Electricity Plan released in October 2024, 1,91,474 ckm of transmission lines (from 4,56,716 ckm to 6,48,190 ckm) and 12,74,185 MVA of transformation capacity for 220kV and above voltage levels (from 10,70,950 MVA to 23,45,135 MVA) are planned to be added during the period 2022-32.
We are optimistic on the prospects of the transmission segment in India and worldwide. The proposed expansion will augment our existing market penetration in the CTC segment. Further, as the customer base for transformer oil and CTC are the same, we strongly believe we will be able to synergise our leadership strength in the transformer oil segment to further expand the CTC business globally.”
