Bajel Projects Ltd has announced the winning of an order relating to developing power supply infrastructure for the Bhopal metro rail project in Madhya Pradesh.
In a stock exchange communication, Bajel Projects said that the order placed by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Ltd (MPPTCL) relates to EPC work of 132kV power transmission lines in Bhopal, involving monopoles, lattice structures, EHV underground cables, and substation feeder bays.
The order, of estimated value between Rs.100 crore and Rs.200 crore, is scheduled for completion in 24 months.
The mandate includes supply of all material and complete construction of 132kV DCDS (double circuit, double stringing) overhead/underground transmission lines from 220kV Bairagarh substation to Karond RSS (receiving substation) and 220kV Adampur to Ratnagiri Tiraha RSS, along with associated 132kV feeder bays/132kV switchyard and installation of 220kV, 160 MVA power transformers at respective substations.
The contract relates to creating a power supply system for the Bhopal metro rail project of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MPMRCL).
