Intrastate TBCB project
Though not indicated by Bajel Projects in its communication, the above contract strongly appears to be part of an intrastate transmission scheme in Uttar Pradesh that Tata Power has won under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) route. The project for which REC Power Development & Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) was the bid process coordinator has been housed under project SPV “Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission Ltd.”
As reported by T&D India, Tata Power recently debuted in the TBCB-based power transmission development space by winning an interstate and an intrastate scheme.
