Bansal Wire Industries Ltd. (BWIL) has inaugurated its largest facility at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh, envisioned as one of the most advanced and sustainable wire manufacturing units in the country.
With a current production capacity of 3.6 lakh tonnes per annum (tpa), the facility is poised to scale up to 4.2 lakh tpa by H1FY26. BWIL’s total infrastructure is capable of supporting up to 6 lakh tpa, a release by BWIL said.
Strategically designed to serve high-growth sectors such as automotive, agriculture, power transmission, construction, and general engineering, the Dadri plant blends industrial scale with environmental stewardship.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the facility features solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient machinery, and an acid-free wire cleaning process. An on-site effluent treatment plant (ETP) and extensive landscaping reinforce its green footprint.
The plant houses a fully equipped R&D Centre to develop high-performance wires for key sectors including automotive, construction, agriculture, and power, BWIL said.
The facility will soon commence manufacturing a wider range of premium and industrial-grade wires, including: induction tempered wire, oil tempered wire, brass-coated hose reinforced wire, low-relaxation pre-stressed concrete wire and tyre cord wire, the BWIL release added.
