Perkins launches electronically-controlled 4000 Series engine

Perkins has announced the launch of its first electronically controlled, highly sophisticated engine, utilising technology specifically designed for the 4000 Series range. The 6-cylinder, 23-litre 4006 electronic engine will be made at the company’s Aurangabad facility, meeting India’s Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) – II norms, and is a significant investment by Perkins to serve the Indian market. This new product, an electronic diesel engine designed specifically for the Indian market, delivers 750kVA prime electric power, a release from Perkins said.

Atlas Copco to expand range with innovative products

Atlas Copco’s Oil-free Air and Compressor Technique Service Divisions, recent held a global sales event between April, 16th and 19th with over 900 participants from 68 countries. Several product innovations in compressed air and gases were launched for the low, medium and high pressure markets. The new products will set new standards in reliability, energy efficiency and serviceability and are all part of the smart AIR solutions concept, a release from Atlas Copco said.

ABB launches range of premium switches

Mahindra Powerol launches high power diesel gensets

Mahindra Powerol has entered the high kVA diesel genset market. The business unit of the$19-bln Mahindra Group unveiled a 500 kVA DG set in an event held in Mumbai, on April 23, 2018.
Mahindra Powerol will now be producing 400/500/625 kVA gensets using Perkins 2000 Series engines. The new range of gensets has been designed at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, and will be manufactured at the Chakan plant near Pune, Maharashtra.
