CyanConnode lands contract for 6.5 million communication modules in India

CyanConnode Pvt Ltd has been awarded a significant contract for the supply of 6.5 million communication modules for smart metering in India.

 

This contract marks the company’s largest order to date and strengthens its position as a key player in India’s ambitious smart metering rollout, a release from CyanConnode said.

 

The letter of award was received from a global partner, underscoring CyanConnode’s proven expertise and long-standing collaboration with leading industry players.

The contract includes the supply of Omnimesh modules, advanced metering infrastructure, standards-based hardware, Omnimesh head-end software, a perpetual license, and a comprehensive support and maintenance contract.

The smart metering projects associated with this contract are spread across various locations in India, with the supply of modules expected to begin in the second half of FY25. The installation phase for each project is projected to be completed within 27 months, followed by a 93-month support and maintenance period.

 

Order book doubles

This order nearly doubles our order book for India, increasing it from 6.6 million units to 13.1 million units, and solidifies our position in India’s nationwide smart metering rollout.”
