Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL) has announced the winning of two orders, aggregating around Rs.230 crore, for supply of high-tension (HT) cables.
In a stock exchange filing, DPIL said that the first order worth around Rs.151 crore, was placed by Gujarat-based Rajesh Power Services Ltd (RPSL). The order entails supply of XLPE armoured HT cables for RPSL’s project of Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd.
The detailed lot-wise delivery schedule will be received upon receipt of DGVCL’s approval, DPIL said in the stock exchange announcement.
The second order, valued at Rs.79.28 crore and placed by Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd (AEML), involves supply of assorted sizes of HT cables. These cables will be deployed in the Mumbai distribution business of AEML, the filing said. The order is to be executed by March 2026.

Re-commissioning of facilities
It may be noted that DPIL, in 2022, was acquired through the NCLT process by GSEC-Monarch Group. The promoters of DPIL, as of March 31, 2025 were Rakesh Ramanlal Shah and his HUF relatives; GSEC Ltd and Monarch Infraparks Pvt Ltd, together holding 90 per cent of the equity capital.
Diamond Power owns a cable and conductor plant, spread over 110 acres, at Savli in Gujarat. DPIL is currently in the process of re-commissioning its plant and is expected to complete the activity by September 2025. The plant, equipped with five CVV (continuous catenary vulcanization) lines and an installed conductor manufacturing capacity of 2.5 lakh tonnes per year.
