Electrical Research & Development Association (ERDA) has announced the expansion of its switchgear testing facility.
ERDA has expanded its “Switchgear Temperature Rise” facility located at Vadodara in Gujarat. “The development of an additional switchgear testing bay shall cater to the enhanced testing requirements of its growing pool of valued customers,” a release from ERDA said.
The new facility has commenced operations. “Our new facility is now operational and has opened doors to all our esteemed customers whom we welcome to avail our expeditious switchgear equipment testing services,” ERDA said, adding, “we believe we would be able to serve our customers more promptly and diligently.”
The rise of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ has encouraged Indian manufacturers for ‘Made in India’ production. This has further led to an increased requirement in testing facilities. This new extension of its switchgear testing facility is its contribution to this nationalist cause, ERDA said.
