GE T&D India has announced the winning of two orders, aggregating over Rs.800 crore, from overseas group entities.
In recent stock exchange communications, GE T&D India said that it received orders worth 90 million euros (around 811 crore; 1 euro = Rs.90.11) from two overseas group entities – Grid Solutions SAS, France and Grid Solutions Middle East FZE, Dubai.
Both the orders relate to “supply and supervision of high voltage products,” the communication said, adding that these orders are scheduled for completion within two years.
The larger of the two orders, valued at 64 million euros, was placed by Grid Solutions SAS, France, while the Dubai-based group company awarded a 26-million-euros order.
The products to be supplied by GE T&D India will form part of an overall project being executed by the respective overseas group entities for end-customers.
