GE T&D India Ltd reported new order inflows of Rs.10.3 billion in Q1FY25 – recording a modest 2 per cent growth from Rs.10.1 billion in Q1FY24.
The company’s order backlog, as of June 30, 2024 stood at Rs.62.8 billion, up 59 per cent over Rs.39.4 billion in Q1FY24 (see table).
Key order wins in Q1FY25
- Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL): Supply of 765kV shunt reactors for reactive power compensation at various transmission system projects in India
- Adani Energy Solutions: 765kV and 400kV GIS bay extension at Khavda, Gujarat.
- Damodar Valley Corporation: Renovation and modernization work of four substations in West Bengal
- PGCIL: To establish regional and load dispatch centers across North Region for Grid Controller of India Ltd (GRID-INDIA) and nine state transmission constituencies with SCADA/EMS technologies
- Renew Power: 400kV and 220kV AIS extension at Koppal and Gadag
- Nepal: Order of 220kV GIS from an EPC company for a substation project in Nepal
Major projects commissioned in Q1FY25
- 500 MVA, 765 kV transformer at PGCIL, Rampur
- 400kV line bays for UPPTCL at Sahupuri
- Two bays of 220kV GIS SS at Hinjewadi for MSETCL and Nxtra Data Center, Pune, Maharashtra
- 220kV GIS for WBSETCL, Kolkata, West Bengal
- 220kV GIS at MTPS DVC, Khatiala, West Bengal
- 90kV GIS SS at Cap des Biches for Calik A/c Senalec, Senegal
