Gensol Engineering has won orders to build solar power generation plants with aggregate capacity of 24 mw.
In a stock exchange communication, Ahmedabad-based Gensol Engineering said that it has secured purchase orders to build grid-connected ground-mounted and rooftop solar power generation plans, from reputed clients.
These plants are scheduled to come up in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. The orders, cumulatively valued at Rs.70 crore, are expected to be completed in the next six months.
All the projects under this order are for captive use by the clients, and are expected to cut down grid dependence of the clients.
The upcoming solar power plants are expected to offset CO2 emissions worth 32,928 tonnes, annually, the release said.
In December 2021, Gensol Engineering had won similar orders aggregating 10.7 mw. (Read more).
