Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, in a stock exchange filing, said that it has received two smart metering-related orders worth over Rs.3,000 crore.
Genus Power Infrastructures said that its wholly-owned subsidiary has received two letters of award worth Rs.3,115.01 crore (net of taxes) for its appointment as Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP), on design, build, finance, own, operate and transfer (DBFOOT) basis.
The scope of works covers supply, installation and commissioning with FMS (facility management service) of 34.79 lakh smart prepaid meters, system meters including DT Meters with corresponding energy accounting on DBFOOT basis.
According to Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, “Our total order book now stands at over Rs. 14,000 crore (net of taxes) – which gives visibility into robust future revenue growth. We have a strong track record of delivering metering projects on time and within budget. In early September 2023, Genus Power has reported the winning of a similar order, valued at over Rs.2,200 crore. (Read more)
