Inox Wind, in a release, said that it has won new turnkey orders for putting up wind farms aggregating 40 mw.
The Noida-headquartered company said that the orders would involve supply and installation of wind turbine generators aggregating 40 mw for retail customers spread across various industries.
The orders are expected to be commissioned by March 2021.
The projects will be executed on a turnkey basis across locations in Gujarat and Karnataka. The contracts include supply and commissioning of 2-mw DFIG 113m rotor diameter wind turbine generators (WTGs) as well as providing comprehensive operations and maintenance services for the life time of the project.
Inox Wind provides its customers with end to end integrated solutions for the entire wind power value chain. The orders are expected to be commissioned by March 2021.
“The company which enjoys one of the largest order books in the industry has further strengthened its order book with the fresh orders,” the release from Inox Wind observed.
As of June 30, 2020, the company’s net consolidated order book stood at 1374.7 mw. This included orders received from outside customers as well as those where Inox Wind was itself the developer of the wind farms. Among major orders for external clients is one aggregating 250 mw placed by Continuum Wind. This order, taking shape in Gujarat, is currently under execution.
