Interregional electricity transfer grows 3.6 pc in FY23

 

Interregional electricity transfer electricity aggregated 236,153 million kWh (MU or million units) in FY23, growing modestly by 3.6 percent over FY22.

 

According to a special study by T&D India, based on official statistics released by GRID-INDIA, exports from WR to NR (denoted as WR-NR) continued to be the biggest component of interregional transfer with a share of 27 percent in the total interregional electricity transfer.
