ISGEC Hitachi Zosen Ltd has received an order for the supply of four reactors for a US-based renewable energy project.
In a stock exchange communication, ISGEC Heavy Engineering—a partner in ISGEC Hitachi Zosen Ltd—said that the order was for four Vanadium Modified Low Alloy Steel reactors, for a Renewable Energy project in USA.
The scope of work includes mechanical design, material procurement, fabrication, testing, and supply of equipment. This is the first order for ISGEC Hitachi Zosen Ltd., India (a joint venture of ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd., India and Hitachi Zosen Corporation, Japan) for supplying such Reactors to USA.
The renewable energy project, which is under execution, will convert vegetable oils to synthetic transport fuels.
ISGEC Hitachi Zosen is a joint venture of ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd and Hitachi Zosen Corporation, Japan (HITZ) located at the port town of Dahej, Gujarat.
HITZ is a fabricator of process equipment with a global track record of fabricating reactors, pressure vessels, ammonia converters, converter internals, tall columns and other critical equipment, the communication said
