Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL), along with its international subsidiaries, has won new orders worth over Rs.1,400 crore in the international markets.
In a release, Mumbai-headquartered KPTL said that along with its international subsidiaries, the company has won new orders (including notification of awards) of Rs.1,416 crore. All the orders relate to the power T&D business, KPTL said.
No more details were disclosed in the KPTL release.
Commenting on the new order announcements, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL, said, “We are delighted with the new order wins in our T&D business. The continuous order momentum in the international T&D business widens our global presence and strengthens our leadership position in key markets. We have won orders in excess of Rs.3,000 crore in the current quarter and additionally have L1 position of around Rs.2,200 crore.”
FY23 performance
During the current year FY23, up to around May 14, 2022, KPTL (including its international subsidiaries LMG and Fasttel) had received orders worth Rs.1,626 crore. With Rs.1,416 crore worth of orders now received, the company’s total order inflow in FY23 so far, stands at a little over Rs.3,000 crore.

Achievement in FY22
It may be recalled that KPTL reported new order inflows of Rs.8,159 crore in FY22, out of which power T&D accounted for 87 per cent. More than half of these inflows (Rs.4,598 crore) came during the fourth quarter (January to March) of FY22. The outstanding order book position as of March 31, 2022, stood at Rs.15,759 crore, up 13 per cent year-on-year. All these metrics include figures for LMG and Fasttel.
