Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has won new orders worth Rs.1,397, the Mumbai-headquartered company said in a press statement.
KPTL and its international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs.1,397 crore, the statement said. All the orders relate to the power T&D business in India and the overseas markets.
These new orders have taken KPTL’s order intake in FY23 so far to Rs.15,784 crore, on a consolidated basis, the company said.
Commenting on the new order announcements, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said “We are pleased with the business outlook in our flagship T&D business with consistent order wins. These new orders in addition to the orders declared earlier during the year have significantly enhanced our T&D order book and provides good visibility for future growth. We are confident that our T&D business is poised for robust growth on back of strong business outlook and order visibility in our focused markets.
With these new orders, our YTD FY23 order intake has reached Rs.15,784 crore at consolidated level. Additionally, we have a strong L1 position. This provides us with confidence to achieve our targeted growth going forward.”

It may be mentioned that as of September 30, 2022, the outstanding order book position of KPTL on a standalone basis (which is KPTL, including its overseas subsidiaries Fasttel (Brazil) and LMG (Sweden, but excluding JMC Projects], was Rs.18,856 crore.
According to estimates made by T&D India, the cumulative order inflow of KPTL (standalone) in FY23 so far is Rs.8,286 crore. Of this, power T&D accounts for around 69 per cent followed by railways with 17 per cent and oil & gas with 14 per cent.
