Kalpataru Projects wins new orders worth over Rs.2,400 crore

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has won new orders worth Rs.2,445 crore, the Mumbai-headquartered EPC major said in a stock exchange notification.

These orders booked by KPIL along with its joint ventures and international subsidiaries, the company said.

Of the total order value, Rs.2,366 crore pertained to domestic and international orders in the power T&D space. The remaining Rs.79 crore was booked by the Buildings & Factories business of KPIL.

Commenting on the new order wins, Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO, KPIL, said, “We are delighted with the new order wins particularly in our domestic T&D business. We continue to remain optimistic on the T&D opportunities in India given the huge thrust to boost the national transmission system, facilitating integration of renewable power. These orders will significantly strengthen our domestic T&D order book and provides good visibility for future growth.”

 

Highest ever order backlog

As already reported by T&D India on February 12, 2024, Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) recorded its highest-ever order backlog of over Rs.51,753 crore, as  of December 31, 2023.

As of around February 7, 2024, KPIL’s cumulative (year-to-date, YTD) order inflows during FY24 was Rs.18,065 crore that included Rs.17,685 crore in 9MFY24 (April to December) and Rs.380 crore in Q4 (up to around February 7, 2024) of FY24.
