KEC International, the RPG Group EPC major, has announced the winning of new orders worth over Rs.1,500 crore.
In a release, KEC said that it has won orders worth Rs.1,503 across its various business with its core business power T&D clinching the majority.
These new orders have taken the total order inflow in FY22 so far, to over Rs.4,000 crore.
The power T&D business landed orders worth Rs.866 crore for projects spread over India, SAARC countries, Africa and the Americas.
The railway business bagged a series of domestic mandates together valued at Rs.321 crore. The orders included overhead electrification (OHE) for conventional railway projects, as well as those associated with semi high-speed rail and port connectivity. The semi-high speed rail project was for 2x25kV OHE and associated works for speed upgrade, while the port connectivity mandate was placed by an unnamed private operator.
The relatively new civil business of KEC secured projects worth Rs.176 crore in the mining & metals, data centre and FMCG markets.

The cables business landed orders, collectively valued at Rs.140 crore, for domestic and overseas projects.
