KEC International has reported the winning of new orders worth Rs.1,005 crore, across its various business verticals.
With these new orders, the company’s year-to-date order inflow in FY22 has crossed Rs.16,000 crore.
Discussing the new orders, the KEC release said that the company’s power T&D business has secured orders for supply of towers and poles in Americas.
The Railways business vertical landed domestic orders for overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works. Under “Mission Raftar”, the RPG Group company was placed orders for 2x25kV OHE and associated works for speed upgradation. Interestingly, the company also won a composite project that included track laying, OHE and associated civil works.
The Civil business secured an order for construction of depot cum workshop in the urban infra segment in India, KEC said. The orders also included a mandate for the supply of various types of cables in India and overseas.

Commenting on the new orders, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, said, “We are pleased with the traction in orders, amidst global upheavals. With these orders, our YTD order intake has surpassed Rs. 16,000 crores with a robust growth of around 50 per cent vis-à-vis last year. Our Railway business has strengthened its presence with orders in both conventional and emerging segments. The order in Civil has enhanced our order book in the urban infra segment and further diversified our clientele.”
