KEC International has reported the winning of new diversified orders worth Rs.1,829 crore, with a clear dominance of civil work-related mandates.
In a release, the Mumbai-headquartered RPG Group company said that these new orders have taken KEC International’s cumulative orders in FY22 so far to over Rs.7,000 crore. This is 70 per cent higher than the comparable position in FY21.
“We have widened our international footprint with the first T&D EPC order in Europe,” says Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International.

Elaborating on the current orders, KEC said that the Power T&D business won Rs.656 crore of new orders for projects in Europe and Americas. These orders include its first EPC order for power T&D works in Europe.
The Railways business landed orders of Rs.144 crore in the technologically enabled/ emerging metro segments in India.
However, it was the Civil business that dominated proceedings. This business won domestic mandates worth Rs.935 crore for infrastructure-related works in the water pipeline and industrial segments, KEC said.
The Cables business has secured orders of Rs.94 crore for various types of cables in India and overseas.
