KEC International, in a release, said that it has won new orders worth valued at Rs.1,041 crore, across its various businesses.

These orders have taken the cumulative order inflow in FY22 so far to around Rs.12,000 crore. This is over twice the comparable level in FY21, the release noted.

The new orders have been clinched by the Power T&D, Civil and Cables businesses. The power T&D orders include domestic mandates and those from the Middle East and Americas. The cables business has secured orders for various types of cables, from India and the overseas markets.

Interestingly, the relatively new civil business has won an order to build a data centre in western India. This is the second data centre order won by KEC International.

According to Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, “We are very happy with the order wins, especially in the domestic T&D segment. With these orders, our YTD order intake stands at around Rs.12,000 crores, a robust growth of over two times vis-à-vis last year. We are particularly enthused by our second order in the growing Data Centre segment.”
