KEC International, in a release, said that it was won a large order worth over Rs.1,000 crore in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a release, KEC said that the turnkey order worth Rs.1,145 crore relates the company’s T&D business. The order involves design, supply and installation of a 380kV overhead transmission line in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
This order has taken KEC’s cumulative order inflow in the current fiscal year (FY24) so far to over Rs.7,500 crore, which is 30 per cent higher than the comparable level in FY23.
Commenting on the order, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, said, “We are delighted with the significant order win in the international market. Our YTD order intake has now surpassed Rs.7,500 crore, a robust growth of 30 per cent vis-à-vis last year. With this order, Saudi Arabia continues to be a major growth driver in the Middle East region.
