KPI Global Infrastructure wins multiple orders for solar plants

Gujarat-based KPI Global Infrastructure Ltd has reported the winning of orders for setting up captive solar power projects for multiple clients.

In a stock exchange communication, KPI Global said that it has received confirmed orders for construction solar power plants aggregating 2.78 mw for two clients – Parag Syntex (1.40 mw) and Shivram Dyeing and Printing Mill (1.38 mw). These plants will come up under the “captive power producer” segment, implying that electricity generated from these solar plants will be used by the respective companies as captive consumption.

Earlier in the month, KPI Global won similar orders from five clients for setting up captive solar power plants aggregating 3.8 mw. The clients were: Priyanshi Creations (1.2 mw), Veekay Prints (1.5 mw), Chougule Salt Works (0.5 mw), Gandhar Food Products (0.25 mw) and Muralidhar Tex Prints (0.60 mw).

Commissioning

In a related development,  also announced recently that it has commissioned five solar power projects, aggregating 5.084 mw, for as many clients. All these projects were captive power plants for their respective owners. The largest of these five projects was a 2-mw installation for Sai Laxmi Tex, a filing by KPI Global said.
