Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has recorded its highest-ever outstanding order book of over Rs.60,000 crore.

In a release, KPIL said that its order book position touched Rs.61,429 crore as of December 31, 2024. This was the company’s highest-ever consolidated order book position, and was 19 per cent higher than the comparable level a year ago.

KPIL added that it is currently placed L1 with respect to orders worth Rs.2,500 crore.

KPIL’s cumulative order inflows in FY25 (from April 1, 2024 to February 13, 2025) stood at Rs.20,181 crore, of which domestic orders accounted for 72 per cent.

The order inflow in the power T&D segment was Rs.10,954 crore, representing 54 per cent of the overall cumulative order inflow in FY25. The remaining order inflow was distributed across several verticals like building & factories, water, railways and urban infra.

In an investor presentation, KPIL said that prospects in the domestic and international power T&D space are driven by rising electricity demand, push for renewables and upgrade of power T&D infra.

In India, power T&D opportunities are projected at Rs.2.5 trillion to Rs.3.5 trillion, driven by renewable energy, system upgrades and capacity addition. In the international market, there is significant uptick in power T&D investments in Latin America, Europe, MENA region and Africa, the presentation said.

Commenting on the company’s performance in Q3 (October to December) of FY25, Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO, KPIL, said, “Our business profile remains well-diversified, with a record-high order book of Rs.61,429 crore, providing strong visibility for the coming quarters. We continue to focus on enhancing our capabilities, achieving operational excellence, and strengthening our competitive position, as reflected in our consistent and strong financial performance.”
