Crescendo which houses authorized brand store for BOSCH Home Appliances and ARISTO Wardrobe solutions and kitchens, has partnered with Magenta to offer EV charging to its customers in Kozhikode and for all EV owners who are travelling through Kozhikode, a release by Magenta noted.
Magenta ChargeGrid team was responsible for installation, commissioning and operations of this charger.
The charging station location is at the heart of the city on Kannur Road near PT Usha Road junction and City Hall and is also very near Kozikode beach. Installation of EV chargers in such hotspots will help to promote more EV adoption. Charger installed at this location can charge all popular electric cars with CCS2 connectors like Tata Nexon, Tata Tigor, MG ZS, Hyundai Kona, Kia EV6, BYD E6, and other high end cars that are expected to be launched in the Indian market.
Magenta intends to onboard many such partners over next few months taking factors like location, type of customer segments etc into consideration, the release said.
Magenta ChargeGrid is currently expanding its charging network to 35-40 cities in India with the aim to set up a network of around 11,000 chargers by the end of FY23. Magenta ChargeGrid has formed alliances with prominent discoms across the country such as BSES, BESCOM and other key discoms with the goal of establishing a stronger EV charging ecosystem. The firm is also collaborating with multiple corporations in India, which currently include Indore Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation.
