During the meet the significant role of NTPC’s partners i.e. vendors, contractors and suppliers, who helped NTPC in providing uninterrupted power supply even during the pandemic was appreciated.

About 160 vendors of NTPC took part in the virtual meet.

It was emphasised that NTPC has always been the frontrunner in adopting new technologies and has always ensured that vendors benefit from the progress.

NTPC’s digitisation drive in procurement activities like uploading of documents by vendors and evaluation of bids and applications have made its systems more efficient, agile and transparent.

Vendors were urged to adhere the standards in quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of goods to assist NTPC with supplying sustained and reliable power.

Through this Vendor Meet, NTPC aims to seek feedback from the vendors and plans to consider their opinions to improve the company’s systems.
