Okaya, the flagship company of Okaya Power Group, has announced the winning of a major World Bank-funded contract from Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), for the deployment of EV chargers.
EESL has given this contract to Okaya for supply, installation and commissioning of 1,020 multi standard electric vehicle (EV) charging stations with CCS, CHAdeMO and Bharat specification protocol across India.
Okaya EV chargers are compatible with all internationally accepted standards and the company’s research and development division works round-the-clock to develop best-in-class product line. Okaya has already catapulted its capabilities to facilitate well laid out EV charging infrastructure across the country, a statement by Okaya said.
Over 500 EV chargers
In the last six months, Okaya has already deployed more than 500 EV charging stations and 250MWh BESS solutions across the country, which makes them one of the largest charging solution providers in the country. OKAYA lithium ion batteries and EV chargers with Intelligent BMS have all the safety features to protect the battery and the vehicle.
