Okaya has bagged a contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd for supply, installation and commissioning of 410kWh lithium ion-based battery energy storage system (BESS) solution at three locations in Delhi.
The BESS solution will be deployed for a project of The Energy Research Institute (TERI), a release from Okaya said.
Designed and developed after extensive research into preferences and demand of its customers in this exclusive segment, OKAYA BESS solution is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and easy-to-install features, the release noted.
Anshul Gupta, Director, Okaya Power Pvt Ltd said, “We are delighted to be awarded with the contract for supply, installation and commissioning of 410kWh Lithium ion based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at three locations in Delhi from Maharatna PSU Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and we will be looking forward to receive more orders from such prestigious government organisations.”
Okaya Power Group is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of EV charging stations, Lithium ion batteries and Lead Acid Batteries in India and it has already deployed more than 500 EV charging stations and 250 MWh worth of BESS solution across the country.
