Rishabh Instruments expands mfg capacity in overseas subsidiary

Rishabh Instruments Ltd has announced that it has expanded manufacturing capacity in its Poland-based subsidiary Lumel SA.

In a release, Rishabh said that production capacity has been enhanced with respect to current transformers and analog meters. A new production area of 1,500 sqm has been created at Lumel’s existing manufacturing site in the Zielona Gòra city centre.

The new production area is designed specifically to manufacture current transformers (CTs) and analog meters. The new facility has 40 specialized production stations including advanced equipment such as toroidal winding machines for automatic winding of wires onto cores, ultrasonic welders, Omicron transformer testing devices, core winding machines and a vacuum furnace for annealing cores after winding.

To enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of testing procedures for CTs and analog meters, Lumel will also operate fully automatic multiple CT testing and meter testing equipment, the release said.
