RMC Switchgears has said that the company has received orders from various state electrical utilities, which were held up due to the pandemic-related reasons.
In a stock exchange filing dated February 9, 2022, Jaipur-based RMC Switchgears said that tender contracts that were delayed to the COVID-19 fallout are now being finalized.
The company added that it has won tenders worth over Rs.100 crore from various state electrical utilities, in the last 30 days. These orders will be fulfilled over the next six months, the filing said.

Incorporated in 2007, RMC Switchgear is engaged in the business of designing and manufacturing of enclosures of energy meters, LT/HT distribution boxes and panels, junction boxes, feeder pillars and other power distribution and circuit protection switchgears made from mild steel, stainless steel in fabrication and deep drawn process along with sheet moulding compound and bulk moulding compound (DMC) materials.
The company also undertakes contracts involving laying of energy transmission lines and establishing electric substation, fixing of new energy meters and shifting of existing energy meters etc in different regions of the country.
