Sharika Enterprises Ltd has successfully commissioned a 220kV XLPE cable project in Uttarakhand.
In a release, Sharika Enterprises said that it has completed the supply, installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) of a 220kV XLPE cable (1C x 400 sqmm) at the 2×30-mw Naitwar Mori hydropower plant in Uttar Kashi district of Uttarakhand.
It may be recalled that the Naitwar Mori hydropower project of Central PSU SJVN Ltd was inaugurated at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 4, 2024.
The EHV cable was part of an electromechanical package executed by Sharika Enterprises Ltd for Voith Hydro Pvt Ltd
The project included the meticulous SITC of the cable, complete with all necessary accessories and supporting structures. The total cable laid length is approximately 2 km with both indoor and outdoor termination, were completed with precision.
The SITC work, including the charging of Circuit 1 and Circuit 2, was completed in strict accordance with the contract and relevant documents, the release said.
Milestone achieved
