Siemens Ltd has reported a year-on-year growth of 43 per cent in new orders during the financial year ending September 30, 2022.
In a statement, Siemens said that it reported a 43 per cent increase in new orders from continuing operations, as compared with those in the financial year ending September 30, 2021.
Commenting on the company’s performance, Sunil Mathur, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Ltd, said, “The company’s strong performance showed the resilience of all our businesses which performed remarkably well. We continue to see an increased pace of tendering for capex by both public and private sectors with increasing interest in digital and sustainability solutions.”

During the fourth quarter (Q4: July to September), Siemens reported new orders (from continuing operations) worth Rs.4,009 crore, registering a 25 per cent growth over Q4 of FY21.
The company’s order backlog, as of September 30, 2022, stood at Rs.17,183 crore.
