Sol-Bright Technology Co. Ltd, the world’s largest manufacturer& supplier of automatic robotic cleaning systems (ARCS) for solar panels, has introduced its Gen.6 Robot.
In a release, Sol-Bright said that “Gen-6” has unique flexible design, gear transmission and Al body which results in enhanced obstacle surmounting capability and more efficient transitions. The Gen.6 ARCS is also easy to maintain, the release noted.
Launching the new upgraded and modified version of ARCS “GEN-6” robot at Renewable Energy India Expo at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida on October 5, 2023, Kumar Shailendra, Country Head, Sol-Bright Technologies India, said, “The launch of Gen.6 ARCS for solar panel cleaning marks another significant step in the annals of Sol-Bright and demonstrates the company’s R&D strength, technological prowess and innovation capabilities.”

Sol-Bright’s new Gen.6 ARCS comes with a light-weight design, curvilinear body to withstand high wind weighing 47±1.5 kg with a 24V DC voltage, the torsional structure parameter makes it able to twist from zero to forty degrees while walking. The robot has a brush rotating speed of 130±10 RPM with an operating noise of less than 60db and an operating temperature of 40°C to 70°C. The Gen.6 ARCS ensures multi-row cleaning by one single robot thereby ensuring 100 per cent coverage.
