Sterlite Power has won significant new orders worth Rs.2,250 crore and secured L1 positions in orders worth Rs.650 crore in Q3 (October to December) of FY25.
These orders are spread across Sterlite’s Global Products and Services (GPS) business, including high-performance conductors, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), power cables, and specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, a release from Sterlite Power said.
The orders are focused on advancing India’s green energy transmission infrastructure and expanding the company’s global footprint. The company continues to build its market presence by exporting high-performance green products to key international markets in the Americas, the European Union, Africa, and the Middle East.
Sterlite Power’s Overhead Conductor business secured orders for high-performance conductors which include supply for green energy transmission projects in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, and Maharashtra. These projects would help connect 42 GW of renewable energy to the national grid. The Power Cables business continued to expand its presence in Medium Voltage (MV), High Voltage (HV), and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables. These orders are towards supply of cables for projects with state utilities.
Sterlite Power’s Specialized EPC Services business secured contracts from leading utilities including a major order from PGCIL for OPGW installation over a 1900 km stretch. Additional key EPC contracts include work with DVC and GETCO, demonstrating the company’s comprehensive capabilities in providing end-to-end transmission solutions, the release noted.
