Suzlon Group has signed a deal with Jindal Renewables, the renewable energy division of Jindal Group, to supply wind turbine generators (WTG) aggregating 400 MW.
The order, placed b JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt Ltd (SPV of Jindal Renewables Power Pvt Ltd, has taken, Suzlon’s cumulative order book to nearly 5.4 GW.
Under the mandate, Suzlon will supply 127 WTGs with hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) towers, each having a rated capacity of 3.15 MW in the Koppal region of Karnataka. The power generated will be used for captive consumption in Steel Plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
