To promote the usage of energy-efficient products among its customer base, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) has announced the launch of a one-stop-shop Smart Energy Shoppe counter.
With this, Tata Power-DDL, according to a company release, becomes the first distribution utility to set up a dedicated counter to offer its customers a wide range of energy efficient products and energy management solutions to choose from, in collaboration with renowned brands like Crompton, Havells, Halonix, Philips, Voltas, Sharp etc.
Smart Energy Shoppe aims to offer its customers a wide range of energy efficient products and energy management solutions, at prices that are up to 65 per cent lower than market prices. The scheme is open for all consumer segments, with no restrictions on quantum of purchase.

Speaking on the scheme, Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO, Tata Power-DDL said, “Consumer Experience and Value Creation is an important pillar of our vision. Currently, Tata Power DDL’s Energy Shoppe has been put up at five customer care centres —Rohini, Shalimar Bagh, Civil Lines, Moti Nagar and Keshavpuram.

These outlets will be managed by trained staff who will take care of customer queries and support them in their buying decision. These counters will have a standardized display of products and have been specifically setup in order to take customer experience to the next level. Customers will be able to review the products from the pool of energy-efficient products portfolio and related offerings before making a buying decision.
