Tata Power sets up EV charging station at Kevadia, first in home to “Statue of Unity”

Tata Power has installed the first-ever DC fast electric vehicle charger at Kevadia in Gujarat – home to the “Statue of Unity”.

App Support

The Tata Power EZ Charge (Charging Station) at Kevadia, near the railway station, will become an important pit stop for EV users. The charging station is also supported by the awarding-winning EZ Charge mobile platform which offers a seamless user interface, making it convenient for all EV owners to locate and check the availability of the nearest e-charging stations in real-time, a release from Tata Power said.

E-vehicle only

Kevadia, which houses the world’s tallest Statue of Unity, is proposed to become the country’s first electric vehicle city with only electric buses, cars and two-wheelers on roads. The company’s move to set up the charging station will surely support the grand move, Tata Power said.
