Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd (TEECL) has announced the winning of multiple power T&D-related orders, aggregating over Rs.4,000 crore.
In a stock exchange filing, TEECL said that it has won domestic orders and one international mandate worth Rs.4,063 crore from several public and private sector entities. These orders, including Rs.2,201 crore on the power transmission side and Rs.1,862 crore on the power distribution side, are scheduled to complete within 24-36 months.

Entity: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd
Order value: Rs.241 crore
Scope: 765kV substation package for solar energy zone in Bidar, Karnataka
Entity: Adani Energy Solutions Ltd
Order value: Rs.120 crore
Scope: 765kV substation package at Halvad, Gujarat
Entity: Apraava Energy
Order value: Rs.175 crore
Scope: 765/400kV substation at Karera, Madhya Pradesh
Entity: Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal)
Order value: Rs.760 crore ($91.61 million)
Scope: 400kV substation(s) at Lapsishedi, Hetauda and Damauli (in Nepal)
Entity: India Grid Trust (IndiGrid)
Order value: Rs.904 crore
Scope: 4×500 MVA, 400/200kV pooling station at Dhule, Maharashtra; 2×1500 MVA, 765/400kV substation at Ishanagar, Madhya Pradesh; 2×500 MVA, 400/220kV substation at Ishanagar, Madhya Pradesh
Entity: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC)
Order value: Rs.291 crore
Scope: 12×33/11kV E-house GIS substation with 33/11kV cabling work of 120 km, in DVC’s command area
Entity: REC Power Development & Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL)
Order value: Rs.1,571 crore
Scope: Installation and operation of smart meters in Tripura, Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh) on DBFOOT basis.
All the above-mentioned orders, with the exception of that by RECPDCL, are on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
Alongside these cash orders, Techo Electric also announced the winning of a power transmission concession, which has been reported as a separate story.
