Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd [TRIL] has received a Rs.237-crore order for transformers from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).
In a stock exchange filing, TRIL said that the order is for designing, engineering, manufacture, testing at manufacturer’s works, supply, freight, etc. of:
- 13×80 MVAR, 765kV, 1-Ph reactors at Dausa substation
- 7×80 MVAR, 765kV, 1-Ph reactors at Beawar substation
- 7×110 MVAR, 765kV, 1-Ph Reactors at Dausa substation
The order includes insulating oil and along with all fittings, accessories including marshalling box for each auto-transformer, Digital RTCC (remote tap changer control) panel, foundation bolts (if any), cables, etc.
The order is scheduled to be completed in 15 months, TRIL said.
According to information available with T&D India, but not confirmed by TRIL, the said order is likely to be related to the interstate transmission system (ISTS) scheme in Rajasthan being developed by “Beawar Dausa Transmission Ltd,” a wholly-owned subsidiary of PGCIL, under the TBCB route.
