The 15th edition of ELECRAMA—the world’s largest electrical equipment trade fair—has been postponed to 2023 due to pandemic-related issues. In normal course, the event would have been held in the early months of 2022.
In a communication to all ELECRAMA stakeholders, Jitendra K. Agarwal, Chairman of the current ELECRAMA organizing committee, said that in view of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the event has been postponed to 2023. This has been done keeping in mind the uncertainties in terms of travel as well as public participation. The exact dates of the ELECRAMA 2023 will be announced as and when they are finalized.
ELECRAMA is a biennial event organized by India’s apex industry body Indian Electricals & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA). Over the years, ELECRAMA has been the most successful exhibition of the electrical industry across the globe. The event has been a big facilitator in helping conduct business worth billions of dollars through physical connect between buyers and sellers.
The latest edition of ELECRAMA, the 14th in the series, was held at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, during January 18-22, 2020.
The communication noted, “COVID-19 has impacted a lot of businesses, particularly travel and exhibitions. Topmost in our minds is the safety and well-being of all participants. Be rest assured that the next edition of ELECRAMA will always keep the health and safety aspect of all participants on top and where will be no compromise on this.”
“The discussion on new dates will be possible only once the situation across the globe and in our country becomes normal. I shall be happy to announce the new dates as and when they are finalized,” the communication added.
